It is officially reported that several of the Liege forts are still resisting the efforts of the Germans to capture them.

ATTENTION DRAWN TO VIOLATION OF INTERNATIONAL LAW (Received Aupust 30, 730 p.m.)
London, August 29. Three Belgian Ministers have gone to the United States on a mission to Mr. Wilson, the President. It is believed that they will urge action in connection with the violation of international law. A Washington message says that the Belgian Minister has conferred with Mr. Bryan, and has protested against the destruction 01 The Belgian Minister in Washington has called the attention of the United States to the attack on Antwerp-au outrage unequalled in the history of the world.
