PRIESTS SHOT AND LOUVAIN CITIZENS OUTRAGED. (Received August 31, 1 a.m.) Amsterdam, August 30. After the burning of Louvain, 72 residents were handcuffed by the Germans and marched to Campenhout, where they were forced to witness the shooting of seven priests. ■ The prisoners were subsequently driven as a screen before the German soldiers across the country, and were released when they cam© near the Belgian outposts. „ r . , i One refugee asserts that the Burgomaster of Louvam and a number Of notable citizens were shot.
