MESSAGE FROM THE SEA.
FATE OF A TRAWLER. A romantic story of the North Sea is associated with tho loss last year ol the Hull fishing trawler Angus, with her crew of nine hands. Recently a bottle containing a message was forwarded to Hull- It was picked up off tho Norwegian coast and tho mcEeago read: " Angus, all hands mutiny—collision with foreign barque—sinking." This message was read at the Board of Trade inquiry held at Hull. Captain Davies was about to close the inquiry when a cablo was received from the British Consul at Christiania saying that another Angus message had been cast up by the sea at Mosternam. In conseyienco of this dramatic incident the inquiry was adjourned. One of tho witnesses was a Mrs. Wilkinson, of Hull, who identified the writing in the messago quoted as that of her former lodger—Arthur Dickinson—who was second engineer 011 tho Angus. The Board of Trade solicitor said he believed the message to 1m gemiirio. Mr. Hugh George Chapman, secretary to tho owners of tho trawler, said lie could not interpret tho word "mutiny" in the message, as the crew were friendly.
