BIRTHS, MARRIAGES, DEATHS.
SIX MONTHS IN AUCKLAND. Tub number of births recorded last month was 299, as against 244 for June of last year. Daring the present year the total number of births in Auckland has been 1640, an increase of 130 when compared with the corresponding, six months of 1913. The number of deaths registered last month was 113, bringing the total for the past six months to 660, a decrease of 40 when compared with the figures for the corresponding period of the previous year. Then rea 134 marriages in Auckland last month, making a total of 850 for the half-year, an increase of 21 over the number recorded for the first six months of last year. Thirty-two of the marriages' lost month were performed in the registrar's office.
