INSTANTANEOUS DEATH.
FRACTURE OF THE SPINE.

Wellington, Tuesday. While shunting in the Larabton railway yards last evening, Andrew Moves was knocked down by a track, md sustained a fracture of the spino. He died instantly.

LEG SEVERED FROM BODY. [BT TELEGRAPH.— ASSOCIATION.] Ih-VEBCARCXLL, Tuesday A shunter named Thomas Lynch, while working in the railway yards, tripped, and the wheels of a carriage passed over his right leg, which was severed from tho body. Lynch was to have been promoted to be foreman of tho goods shed next week. „
