A boy about elev-?n years of age, belonging to Kimihia, was charged at the Magistrate's Court to-day with stealing £16 in gold from the house of one resident, and two guns from that of another. He pleaded guilty to the charges, and i was convicted and ordered to come up for 1 sentence when c.-.M upon. The boy's ' father was ordered to pay £2 lis, tho ; balance of the £16 not recovered.
