AMERICAN TORNADO.

MUCH DAMAGE TO PROPERTY. FOUR DEATHS RECORDED. By Telegraph— Association— Copyright. St. Paul, Juno 24. Considerable damage was done by the tornado which swept a portion of the country yesterday. Four were killed in Minneapolis, and two others fatally injured, while 20 were seriously injured.

At Watertown, North Dakota, the property damaged is estimated at more than £200,000,

Telegraph and telephone communication was completely blocked for a number of hours.

The storm swept North Dakota, South Dakota, Minnesota, and Wisconsin- Reports arc incomplete, and it is possible that tho lc—t of life and the damage to property will be largely increased.
