STREET STANDS.
'"•i/'fy-'jfcity. Sir,—l noticed in the HkBAM lbst week that'a firm in Albert Street' were fined , iOs. for having a few sheets of and, two" portable boilers standing on. the footpathV I' think X am safe in saying that 'there' are 500 times as many people passing along. Queen Street as thero : are passing ! in Albert ; Street. It seems strange that Hindoos and .others should ,bo allowed to have a lot. of fruit cases piled up on the road and foot- ! path at most of the corners of Queen ! Hirect and no notice be taken of it. i F.UIU'LJiY.
