CANADA TAKES ACTION. WHALER CHARTERED. By Telegraph— As»oci»tion~Copyrieht. San Francisco, March 24. The Canadian Government have chartered a whaler to search for the whereabouts of the Stefansson expedition to the Arctic. Captain Pederson, leader of the search expedition, believes the Karluck, Stefansson's ship, has been lost in the ice north of Point Barrow.
