OFFER TO LADY SACKVILLE. Times and Sydney Sun Services. London, March 14. A Philadelphia millionaire named Dr. C. F. Widener, is negotiating with Lady Sackville for the purchase of the remainder of the Wallace collection. He has offered £800,000., Sir John Murray Scott bequeathed this great collection to Lady Sackville, expressing the opinion that she was the person best able to take care of the treasures. An action followed, brought by the deceased's brother, to dispute the validity of the will on the score of undue influence, but Lady Sackville established her claim.
