HOW IT IS GUARDED.

New York, March 7. Extraordinary precautions are being taken at the -Museum of Art to guard the late Mr. J. Pierpont, Morgan's collection against fire and thieves. The treasures, which are now on view to the public, are valued at £10,000,000. Fifty special watchmen and two police officers, all armed, are on duty, day and night, and electrical alarms have been installed all over the premises.
