YESTERDAY'S BUSINESS.
Ovly a small amount of business was transacted on the Stock Exchange yesterterday. In standard stocks Union Bank of Australia* were offered at £60, but no buyers came forward. A sale in Auckland Tramway* (orcl.) took place at 22s 9d.
In mining lines Waihis were sold at! from 48s to 48s 3d to 48s to 47s 9d and ! further buyers remained at 475, 6d, while late sellers held for 47s 91 Wailii Grand Junctions were disposed of at 25s 9d and more were available at 265, but late buyers did not advance beyond 25s 6d.
