FROZEN FOR A BET.

New York, March 1. A chauffeur, Frank Casey, made a bet that he could walk three miles through deep snow from his home to Vincent Astor's villa, Rhinebeck. He did not arrive at his destination, and was found in the morning frozen. He had gone only half the distance, and had then been overcome by the intense cold.
