REVOLT IN BRAZIL.
CAUSE OF THE TROUBLE.

Rio de Janeiro, March 7. The proclamation of martial law is attributed to trouble in the Military Club, which is the outcome of a revolutionary movement.
The Ministry is taking steps to ensure the security of Port Aleza. It is considered unlikely that the troubles *>f the State of Ceara will seriously affect the fortunes of the whole country.
A number of other journalists have been arrested. The newspapers remain impartial. They are filling their leading article columns with stories.
