London, March 6. The newspapers of various parties are supporting the House of Commons Panama Exhibition memorial. Several urge Britain's obligation to respond to the spirit shown by President Wilson regarding the tolls, and consider the present moment opportune to reconsider the decision. Reports from Washington state that some of the newspapers hope that as a consequence of the progress of the Panama Tolls Bill Britain will now participate in the Exhibition. SOUTH AUSTRALIAN ACTION. (Received March 8, 5.5 p.m.) Adelaide, March 8. South Australia has decided to participate in the Panama Exhibition.
