TWO INCIPIENT STRIKES.

Hundreds of scholars in Warwickshire struck yesterday as a protest against the decision of the authorities to enforce attendance after children had passed their 13th birthday. They paraded the streets.carrying flags, and damaged the school building. The police dispersed them several times.

The children of a Scottish school are also causing trouble. They demanded a short school day, a half-holiday, and no caning. When, they returned each was given four strokes, the headmaster having a busy half hour.
