SUPPLY OF FIREPLUGS.

The Auckland Fire Board stated in a communication to the City Council last night that there were no fireplugs in the old Great North Road. It was decided to reply in terms of the waterworks engineer's report, which stated that in the portion of the Great North Road between Newton Road and the old hotel at Archhill there were 19 fireplugs, and all positions were marked by plates and whitewash.
