WAITEMATA SHOW.
The Waitemata Show is being held to-day and to-morrow at Lake Takapuma. The entries are not only very large but of excellent quality, and special attraction are being provided in the shape of chopping contests on each day and Highland dancing on Saturday. On the Saturday there will be four contests in chopping, and the entries received include W. Peck (the winner of the world's championship at the recent Exhibition meeting) and Dave Pretty, a winner of many championships.
