WEST END CLUB.
The lollowing eleven crews have been selected to compete in the A.R.A. gala, to be held at Point Erin to-morrow. The winning crew in the club's trial fours will contest the A.R.A. grand final for Mrs. J. Clark's trophies. The crews representing the Waitemata Boating Club to take part in the Auckland Rowing Association's big gala at Point Erin to-morrow afternoon, are as follows: — First Heat: C. The crews' will compete for trophies presented by Mr. Ellerbeck, one of the club's vice-presidents, and the winner will represent the club in the A.R.A. final for Mrs. Clark's trophies. ST. The final of the double sculling event for trophies presented by Mr. C. E. Luke, was rowed off yesterday The race was a close and exciting one, and resulted in ,a win for C. Cozens and F. S. Goulding, with S. Wright as cowswain, beating K. W. Aimer and A. J. Prescott, with T. Walding (coxswain) by one length.
