EDUCATION OF CHILDREN.
[BY TELEGRAPH.PRESS ASSOCIATION.] Gisborne, Wednesday. Between 50 and 60 celegates arrived in town to-day for the 2&th annual convention of the W.C.T.U., and were accorded a civic reception this evening.
In welcoming the delegates, the Mayor (Mr. J. R. Kirk) urged the convention to consider the advisability of differentiation in the education of the sexes, and to make representations to the Minister for Education in support of a change in the system of educating boys and girls.
