EMBLEM OF THE EMPIRE.
Times-Sydney , Son Special Cable. London, January 4. The King has received from Mr. Agar Wynne (Postmaster-General of Australia) the first letter from the Commonwealth bearing the new stamp. '<• .. , This stamp, which took the place of tho kangaroo issue, carries out the Itoyal wish that the King's head should represent the emblem o;': Empire for the colonies as well as for Britain.
