SPOTS ON THE SUN,
INTERESTING SUGGESTION. By Telegraph—Pross Association—Copyright, (Received Doccrabor 11, 6.5 p.m.) London, December 13. The suggestion has been made by read before the Royal Astronomical Professor Herbert Turner in a paper Society that the sun-spots are due to fragments struck off Saturn's rings by a falling star. These fragments falling on the sun cause the disturbances to its surface.
