STORY FROM THE ARCTIC. By Telegraph— Association— Ottawa, December 13. Members of the Royal North-West Mounted Police, who have returned from their Arctic posts, mention rumours, that Stefansson, the Canadian explorer, and a portion of his party have been marooned deliberately by the crew in consequence of dissensions and certain complaints concerning food. The trouble is reported to have culminated in Stefansson being obliged to land, leaving other members of the expedition in charge of the Karluk.
