INTERESTING DISPLAY.

" Bo prepared" is the motto of the boy scouts. That the Auckland scouts live up to their motto in every respect was more than demonstrated by "the rally which was held in the Domain on Saturday afternoon. It is to be deplored that there wero not moro people present to witness what tho scout movement' has dono for the youth of Auckland, and if by chance any adversecritic was present he mart surely have been converted. A model camp was constructed by the Ist Eden troop, and contained everything conducive to-health and comfort, in the making of camp beds and other useful and necessary adjuncts to camp life the St. Sepulchre troop proved efficient. The St. Heliers Bay scouts built a whare from no bettor material than raupo and tea-freo staves in a distinctly creditable manner. As showing what can be dono with a few lengths of lope, a couple of planks, and the ordinary scout staves, tho Ist All Saints' troop constructed a very ingenious and efficient swing bridge. The interesting display was brought to a close by a circular rally, with which wero combined spectacular evolutions and a haka. Tho scouts then dispersed in order to take advantage of tho passes which had'been given to. them for the Exhibition, .
