The real name of tho man arrested under the name of Frederick Pater, on a charge of attempting to bribe Jesse Pennington, the West Bromwich Albion back, to secure a loss or draw in a recent match, is Pascall Biolette. He has been charged at the instance of the Crown under the Prevention of Corruption Act.
