The annual meeting of the Ponsonby District Cricket Club is to be held in the Leys Institute on Tuesday, 28rd Inst., at 8 p.m.

ST. PETER'S CLUB MEETING. The annual meeting of St. Peter's Cricket Club was held in tie Bible-claBS room. Great North Road, on Friday evening Mr. P. W. Brinsden, president, who occupied the chair, expressed his pleasure at Boeing so many present. The annual report showed that the club's team had been runner-up for the Churches' Association championship, after playing-off with Y M C.A., and that several members had represented the association. With regard to finances, however, the club hod just managed to pay its way. Tho fallowing officers were elected :—Patron, the Hon. Geo. Fowlds; vice-patrons, Mr. Geo. Baildon and Dr Hugh Keith; hon preeidont, tho Rev. F. A. Thompson; president, Mr. P. W Brinsden ; secretary and treasurer, Mr. A. Bushill (Princeps Street, Grey Lynn); delegates, Mr R A. Ramsay and the secretary; -o"imiltee, Messrs R. E. Brown and H. Mills. Mr. Alf. E Stainton wat unanimously elocted a life member. The trophies presented by Messrs. J. Campbell, J. Y Warren, C Norgrove, and G. Baildon. were won by Messrs C. A Little and A Bushill (batting), R. E Brown (bowling), and W. Doughty (all-round play). The prospects of the coming season are very good.

CLUB FORMED AT WHITFORD.

A vory successful meeting of those interested in cricket was held in the Whitford Hall on Wednesday evening last, when it was decided to form a cricket club, to he called the Whitford Cricket Club. The following officers were then elected:— President, Mr. Brownhill; vice-presidents, Messrs. H. W. Shaw, J. Granger, A. Trust, sen., Kerr, and Skitch; secretary and treasurer, Mr. E C. Granger; committee, Messrs. Braithwale. W Allen, Jaa Moaghe', A. Webster, R Trust, G Granger, and F. Granger; Match Committee, Messrs. Brownhill. Kerr. liraithwate, and . the secretary The secretary will welcome correspondence from city clubs desirous of arranging matches for holidays.
