MORRINSVTLLE DEFEATS WAIHI. [by telegraph.—own correspondent.] Paeroa, Monday. A ladies' hockey match, played at Paeroa on Saturday between Morrinsville and Waihi, resulted in a victory for Morrirmville by 1 goal (scored by Miss F. Mackenzie) to 0.
ENGLISH TEAM'S VISIT.
TERMS OF TOUR SUBMITTED.
[BY TELEGHAPH.—PRES9 ASSOCIATION."! Chbistchuhch, Monday. At a meeting of the Management Committee of the New Zealand Hockey Association a letter was received from the English Hockey Association giving the terms upon which the committee was willing to send a team to New Zealand as follows: The team to leave England in April, 1911 and play 13 matches in New Zealand over a period of six weeks; (2) all fixtures and arrangements to be in the hands of the New Zealand Association; (3) all board, and boat, and train expenses in New Zealand to be guaranteed by the Now Zealand Association, and after paying the match expenses the balance of gate receipts to be paid to the touring account, into which the English Association will pay a sufficient sum to cover the boat fares between England and New Zealand. When the tour is completed the balance in the bank to be divided as follows: —(1) All board, and boat, and train expenses in New Zealand to be paid; (2) boat fares from England to New Zealand and hack to be refunded pro rata; (3) any balance to be divided equally between the English and New Zealand Associations. In the event of a deficit the expenses to be paid in the order named
A sub-committee was empowered to circularise all the New Zealand associations to ascertain their views upon these proposals.
