London, August 10. A curious affair is reported fTom Leeds.
Frederick Dennison, aged 19, who had been dumb for 10 yeara following on an attack of influenza, suddenly shouted id his excitement while playing cricket. He afterwards stole into the woods, where he convinced himself that his voice was restored, and cried with joy. He did not tell anyone until lie had first written to his mother.
