SENTENCES AND CONVICTIONS.

The following' seatences were passed: —George Anderson Duncan, assault causing bodily ham, three months' hard labour; Henry Burke, fori gery, three months: Peter Wad&worth, making a false declaration as a prelim-! inary to marriage, fined £5 to cover expenses, of prosecution and trial, . Albert Percy Olding was found guilty on a charge* of abducting a girl named Clara Perry,, under 16 years of age. Sentence was deferred. Walter Duff was convicted on three counts, charging him with attempt-, ing to commit an unnatural offence, with, committing an assault with intent, and with committing such an offence. Sentences was deferred. , Edward Wilson, alias Robert Jones, was convicted on three counts, charging him with having assaulted a young girl with, intent, with having committed an indecent assault, and with having committed a common, assault. Sentence was deferred.;
