Because he bad from 1878 till June 17, 1913, "most faithfully, zealously, and efficiently"' discharged his duties as coroner for the cily of Auckland, is the reason given for a petition to Parliament signed by 3032 persons, asking for the reinstatement of Mr. Thomas Graham in that office. The petition is vgned by Mr. T. Cotter, K.C., and a large number of oilier barristers and solicitors., an<.' was presented to the House of Representatives by Mr. A. M. Myers (Auckland East).
