SETTLEMENT OF A DISPUTE.

[lit TfXEOKAI'H.—i'RKSS ASSOCIATION.] iNVEiiCAEG«Lt, Thursday, The Invercargiil Town Council to-night reached a. settlement of the dispute with the Qtatara Company, winch affected the progrese of the reclamation work now proceeding hi the estuary. The principal condition is that the corporation pay the tympany £650 for the use of a tramway : for a period of 18 months, from June 1, 1913, and for a further six months a jj rental of £10 per week. It is anticipated that the work will be : completed within 18 months.
