HIS ANKLE SPRAINED.

Wellington, Tuesday. As the Prime .Minister (the Hon W. F. Massey) was leaving his house this morning, he slipped on the steps and slightly sprained his ankle. During the day it became a little worse, with the result thatlie: was unable to appear in the House of Representatives in the evening, although he attended as usual in the afternoon. It is not expected that lie will be incapacitated for long. * '
