A meeting of the Executive Committee of tho Auckland Hockey Association was held on Tuesday evening. Present: Messrs. A. E. ■Tattley (chairman), M. Alison, F. Brooke Taylor, H." Richards, H. U. Culpan, A. 0. Butler, and L. H. Norton (hon. secretary). Tho following clubs were affiliated:— Kiatere (colours, black and white hoops), Akarana (colours, back and geld hoops, approved for this season only), Newton West School (colours, black jersey, white badge), Mount Eden School, and Stanley Bay School. waikato association. [by telegraph.—owh correspondent.] ' Hamilton, Wednesday. ' ' At; the meeting of the Managing Committee of the Waikato Hockey Association, it. was decided to inform the Waipa Association that their application for affiliation to Auckland had been reported to the New Zealand Association to deal with, regret being expressed that the application for affiliation should have • been made without consulting the Waikato . Association. The referee's report on the' Hamilton-Prankton match was referred to the latter, club. - The registration of a number of new players was approved,-and the secretary was : instructed to inform.the Thames Association that a match cannot be arranged until the end of the cup competitions. A match will be played with the Auckland Wednesday Association at Hamilton, on June 3. A ground fee of £1 on Saturday and 133 4d. on Wednesday clubs, was levied. The Wednesday competition was fixed at three rounds, and Messrs. Greene. Gerrand, Raynor. Mclntyre. and Pirie were appointed to govern the Wednesday clubs.
