A YISIT OF INSPECTION. ?»■■■".■'"."" '•. A JjKrgs party, organised by Mr. 'A, E. Glover, visited the Waerenga State farm oh Thursday. It included Messra J. H. Bradney, M.P., A. Harris, M.P., and A. K. member of the Auckland Land BoaftL Many members of the party visited tho estato for the first time, and they examined with much interest the work that is being carried on. The winepresses wero in operation, and the party studied with close attention the various processes in tho manufacture of wine. The success with which grass has been established on the land surprised the agriculturists in the party. . After a thorough inspection of the farm had been made Mr. Glover proposed a voto of thanks to the Prime Minister (the i Hon. W.F. Massey) for granting permission for the party to visit the* farm, and to tlie staff for their hospitable entertainmen. Messrs. Bradney, F. Lawry, and A. R. Harris also spoke in suppor of Mr. Glover's remarks, and the vote was accorded with cheers.
