REMITS TO CONFERENCE. The following is a list of subjects on which the executive of the New Zealand Farmers' Union, Auckland Province, has instructed the Advisory Committee to draw up j remits for presentation at the next provincial conference, which is to be held in Auckland on May 22 and 23 next:—"Re light railways," "The charges of one Government Department to another in regard to the working together for the public benefit," " A workable scheme as to how strikes should be combated," "Pollution of Water Bill,' " Shearers and agricultural labourers' accommodation regulations," and " The regulations relating to the export of margarine."
