VISIT OF NEW PLYMOUTH TEAM. GREY LYNN DEFEATED. The. New Plymouth bowlers, who arrived from South by the Karavra on Sunday. played the first match of tho tour yesterday. Grev Lynn being met on the orc> Lynn Green. Prior to the commencement of the same the visitors were welcomed by Mr. Carlaw. The match, which was keenly contested, resulted in a win for New Plymonth bv 21 points. Details of games are, as follows. The Botorua bowling tournament was concluded on Saturday with the playing of the final matches of the competition for the medals presented by Mr. A. M. Myers, Ml'. The final between Pilkington and Hudson's rinks, which was won by Hudson by nine to nil. was conclude' in darkness. The winning rink was:—W. Elliott (Auckland), A. Snedden (Carlton), C. A.
