LOVERS SHOT.
A- FATHER'S "VIEWS." The West Cheshire coroner has held an inquest on the bodies of Ruby Jones and Harold Farrer, who were found shot at New Brighton. William Daniel Jones said the girl was his daughter. She had been employed ab the Victoria Hotel, New Brighton, in the Bar, and also assisted with the bookkeeping. He only saw the man Farrer once, when he came to his house and asked if the witness would allow Mm to correspond with his daughter. " I said, " Certainly not, I have other views fop my daughter;' and so I had. I told him' I did not require his presence and hoped I would never see him again, and I never did." s • . The jury returned a verdict that both died from gunshot wounds, but there was not sufficient evidence to prove who fired the shots* *.\ :."".'; ■..■',-'._"■
