/BUSINESS DONE YESTERDAY.

There was only a small volume of business transacted on the Stock Exchange yesterday. In mine lines, Waihi Grand Junctions were in strong demand, at 225, shares changing hands at 22s 3d. Further supplies were available at the latter figure. Waihis were on offer at 33s 6d, with buyers at 335. Talismans changed owners at 37s 6d, while later buyers offered 37s 3d, and sellers quoted 38s. In investment stocks, Auckland Gas (new issue) saw business done at 66s 6d,, and more were wanted at 65s 6d. Late sellers would not part with their shares under 57s 3d. New Zealand Drug (£2) were sold at 49s 6d, and further buyers offered 495, without any declared sellers.
