REINSTATING PUMPING PLANT.

. Waihl, Thursday! Nine more men have been taken on by the mining companies during the past two days, and quite a number of suitable miners who have been accepted as members of the arbitration union have entered their names on the companies' lists for employment when it is available. ■ The reinstatement of portions of the electrical pumping plant removed^- by the Waihi Company during the strike has been almost completed, and the pumps will shortly be in commission. The unwatering of the low levels will then be more speedily proceeded with. Although not very pronounced the exodus of federationists from Waihi continues, there being several departures daily. During yesterday and to-day 11 truck-loads of furniture were despatched by' rail, the whole of which was consigned to Auckland.
