MAGISTRATE'S COURT.
A nt/maer of maintenance cases were heard beforo Mr. C. C. Kettle, S.M., at the Magistrate's Court yesterday, most of which wero withdrawn, on the recommendation of tho Magistrate to settle matters out of Court. The only judgment secured was in an affiliation case, when Denis Donovan, a billiard saloon proprietor, was adjudged to be the father of an illegitimate child. He was ordered to pay £10 for past, and 10a a woek for future maintenance, with solicitor's fees, £2 2s.
