GREECE'S REFUSAL TO SIGN ARMISTICE.

APPEAL TO HER ALLIES. NO SELFISH MOTIVES. OFFER OF ALL HER FORCES (Received December 5, 11.30 p.m.) London, December 5. Reuter's Agency states in regard to Greece's refusal to sign the armistice that the Greek Government made a touching appeaL to her allies, beseeching them not to take a course which was calculated to weaken or endanger the league. Greece offered the aid of all her naval and military resources in the event of Turkey not accepting the less damaging terms.

The Times' correspondent at Athens says that Greece's action has not been taken for selfish ends, but

for the benefit of the allies, since the raising of the blockade would assist the Turks to secure supplies. An official communique issued in, Athena declares that the Greek' action was taken in agreement with the other allies. The Daily Telegraph says that the precise causes leading to Servia and Bulgaria signing the armistice: protocol against Greece's wishes are ; not clear. Perhaps, it says, they were influenced by a fear of Rou-i manian intervention and a grave dispute with Austria.
