The Pilgrims Club gave a farewell luncheon at the Waldori Astoria Hotel yesterday to Sir George Iteid (High Commissioner for Australia) before his departure for England. Sir George afterwards attended a smoke concert given by the Canadian Club. The speeches were laudatory of Canada's and Australia's work within the Empire.
