Tho New Zealand Lawn Tennis Association is endeavouring to get the English team which will visit Australia for tha Davis Cup competition to givo three extra days in addition to tho two weeks' visit to Now Zealand that lias now bean arranged. The object is to get tho visitors to take part in the New Zealand championship tournament, to be held on December 30 and 31 and January 1. Tho New Zealand Association cabled yesterday to the Australian Association, asking that these tlireo additional days bo allotted.
