[)!Y TELEGRAM. — CORRESPONDENT.] Ti: AeohAj Friday. At the invitation of Te Aroha High School Committee, Messrs. Mulgan, chief inspector of schools, and George George director of technical education, attended a meeting at Te Aroha last night, and delivered addresses dealing with the proposed establishment of a manual centre at Te Aroha. Mr. George explained that the cost of each centre, including equipment, was .£950. The proportion to bo contributed by localities varied according to conditions. hi Te Aroha it would be necessary to subscribe about £120. After some discussion it was agreed that the School Committee should be requested to take the preliminary Steps towards establishing the centre.
