The Miners' Union Hall is almost completed. •; Archdeacon Willis, of Cambridge, conducted the services in St. Paul's (Anglican) Church ■' on Sunday last. the vicar (Rev. A. J. Beck) being, confined to bed through a. severe attack of influenza. Appendicitis appears to be fairly prevalent just now in the mining township". Four patients have been sent to Auckland and Hamilton to undergo operations. '.j
