NO GLASSES IN CROW'S NEST.
By Telegraph.— A*sociafcioh.—Copyright. London, May 25, Frederick Fleet, who was on the look-out aboard the Titanic when til© disaster occurred, testified at the inquiry that if he had had glasses he would have seen the iceberg in time to prevent the disaster.
THE GLASSES TAKEN AWAY. Fleet gave similar evidence &p the American inquiry. He said there wore no look-out glasses in the Titanio's crow's nest after leaving Southampton. If ho had had glasses, he said, he could have seen the iceberg m time, to have escaped it. He said glasses were furnished the look-out from Belfast, to Southampton, whore they were taken away.
