ANOTHER RESOLUTION. [BY TELEGRAPH. rRESS ASSOCIATION.] New Plymouth, Wednesday. At a meeting of the Liberal and Labour Federation held on Tuesday night the following resolution was passed in regard to the retiring Prime Minister (Sir Joseph Ward):— "The Liberal and Labour Federation of New Plymouth desires to express its regard for your past services to the people of this Dominion and the Empire ; also to place on record its appreciation of the disinterested way in which you arc relinquishing the high office you have held as leader of the progressive party at this juncture. The federation hopes that when the misrepresentation to which you have been subjected has cleared away you will again resume the position as ono capable of steering the ship of progressive thought into a haven of safe refuge."
