CANCELLING REGISTRATION. [BY TELEGRAPH.—PRESS ASSOCIATION.] Wellington, Tuesday. At a meeting of the Wellington Boot Operatives' Union to-night the following resolution was passed :—" That, seeing that no agreement was arrived at by the. employers and employees at tho recent conference, this union decides to take determined steps for immediate action." Since the conference last week a ballot of tho union has been taken on the question of cancelling its registration under the Arbitration Act. The result was announced to-night as follows: —For cancellation, 2.50; against cancellation, 90. The necessary notice will bo forwarded to the registrar in duo course.
