TJtsinks.s was more activo on the Stock kxehango yesterday. In investment stocks New Zealand Insurances wore disposed of at 945.6(1, l iving more available at 955, buyers offering 94s 3d. Auckland Gas (old) were exchanged at,66s 6d, more j being inquired for at 67 sellers quoting 6/s 6d. A\ ilsons Portland Cements (ordinary) were sold at 395; Auckland Tramways (ordinary), at 245; and Tonson (■arlioks, at 20s. In mining lines, Talismans were quoted with .sellers at 54s and buyers at 53s 6d. Sales were made in W ailiis at 45s and 45s 3d, with later buyers quoting 45s and sellers 45s 3d. aihi Grand Junctions wero bought at i 2°>, with further supplies on offer at that j price, buyers quoting 28s- 9d.
