Regatta was held at Lake Forsyth to-day in line weather, with a light south-westerly breeze blowing:. In thesenior fours Union had a row over. Other events resulted:— Youths' Double Sculls: Avon. 1; Union. 2. Won by two lengths. Two other crews also competed. Maiden Fours: Canterbury No. 1.1: Avon 2; Union. 3. Won by half a length. Star and Canterbury No. 2 also competed. Junior Double Sculls: Sumner, 1; Union. 2; Canterbury, 3. Star also competed. Won by a-ntuirtor of a length. Senior Pairs: Union 1, Star 2. Canterbury also started. Won by 200 yds. Youths' Fours: Union 1 Canterbury 2, Avon 3. Timaru and Star also competed. Won by half a-length. Maiden Double Sculls: Avon 1. Union 2. Canterbury 3. Star also competed Won by a, length. Junior Fours: Canterbury 1. Star 2, Union 3. Won by two lengths. Senior Double Sculls: Union 1, Sumner 2, Union 3. Won by 100 yds. THE AUCKLAND CLUB. The Auckland Rowing Club held trial fours on Saturday afternoon for trophies donated by the firm of A. Kobn. The first heat resulted: —Lovatt (stroke), 1: Kins (stroke). 2: Hill (stroke), 3. Second heat: Sinel (stroke). 1; Cannon (stroke). 2: Biggs (stroke). 3. Third heat: Belcher, 1: Mason, 2: Anderson, 3. The final resulted in a win for liovatt's crew, Sinel's crew being second, and Belcher's third. The winning crew consisted of Lovatt. Gentles. Benjamin and Metgn. Lovatt won by three quarters of a length. WEST END CLUB. The West. End Rowing Club held upside down trials on Saturday afternoon, the first heat, being woujy Aitikin by half a length. The second heat was won by G. Mellsom, and the third by J. Da weft A good race in the final resulted in a win for Dawes, Aickin being second and Lawson close up third. The winning crew consisted of J. Dawes, C. Moore, G. Keane, A. Blakey, Carter (cox).
